The Nintendo Switch, now turning six, continues to be a seemingly unforgiving force in the gaming world. The console achieved more than a million sales last November, making it the best-selling video game for that period.

The lead in November 2021 also marks another important milestone for Nintendo. Switch has managed to sell more than other consoles in 35 out of the past 36 consecutive months. In other words, in the past three years, the Switch has not sold more than the PlayStation and Xbox in one month. Data is from the NPD Group and relates to the US market.

It is worth noting that the month of November is one of the most important for any product to declare itself in the lead as it is one of the hottest periods in sales. For example, it is the month of Black Friday, which also saw Switch come to the fore, with 550 thousand units sold in this series of promotions alone.
