No Lotto jackpot winners as prize money rolls down to lower tiers

The National Lottery jackpot on Wednesday is estimated at £ 2 million.

Nobody won the weekend grand prize, but Saturday’s £ 20 million Must Be Won special drawing meant other lucky winners got a share of it in addition to the usual rewards.

Two players matched five numbers and the bonus ball to win £ 1,187,129 each – versus the usual £ 1 million – and 100 people pocketed £ 7,987 after finding five of the six numbers.

The lottery winning numbers were 21, 14, 39, 41, 36, 01 and the bonus number was 34.

A set of seven balls and a Merlin drawing machine were used.

No one matched all five numbers to win the Lotto HotPicks, but five people matched four numbers to win £ 13,000.

The Thunderball winning numbers were 28, 21, 11, 01, 14 and the Thunderball was 14.

One lucky player won the top prize of £ 500,000 by matching all five numbers plus the Thunderball, and five players were awarded the next higher prize of £ 5,000 after matching five numbers.
