Nokia X20 introduced: 5G support

Nokia X20 launched with 5G function. The company revamped its smartphone line-up with the new budget-friendly Nokia X20 to compete with big companies such as Samsung and Apple.

Finland-based HMD Global bought Nokia’s mobile phone division from Microsoft in 2016. Licensed to design and sell Nokia mobile phones after purchase, the company has since launched several smartphones.

HMD Global, which announced three different smartphone families, placed its new models, namely X, G and C, in different segments. The company offers advanced equipment in the X series and also includes mid-range functions in the G series. The C Series comes with entry-level hardware.

Nokia X20 budget-friendly model, welcomes users with a 6.67-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 × 2400. The phone has a 64 megapixel quad camera on the back, one of the cameras has a 5 megapixel ultra-wide angle and dual sight. One of the other two cameras has a 2-megapixel macro recording sensor and the other has a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Nokia X20powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 5G chipset has 5G connectivity support. The smartphone, which is offered with two different RAM options, 6 GB and 8 GB, offers 128 GB of storage space. In addition, it should be noted that the memory of the device can be increased up to 512 GB with support for microSD cards.

On the front of Nokia X20 is a 32 megapixel fixed lens selfie camera. The new generation phone also has a dual view feature that allows you to use the phone’s two cameras at the same time to capture different angles from a single shot.

HMD has promised full protection for its newly introduced phones for three years. This means that the company provides security updates and a full warranty for three years. In addition, there is also a special case for phones, which it offers as an environmental initiative.

It continues to struggle in the smartphone market with Chinese companies such as Nokia, Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi. Nokia X20 5G, the price of which is not yet known, is expected to be available in May.
