The manufacturer OnePlus confirmed the date of its next generation of top-of-the-line smartphones – and took advantage of the date to reveal a feature that should be one of the highlights of the model.
The OnePlus 9 line will be unveiled on March 23, 2021, at noon (Brasilia time), in a broadcast from the brand. In total, two devices are expected, OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, both with 5G.
In the poster confirming the launch, OnePlus also revealed that it has entered into a partnership with the Swedish company specializing in cameras Hasselblad. The two companies teamed up to develop the photographic set, meaning the company’s CEO’s promise to improve their mobile phone cameras must be kept. The main sensor, on the other hand, is from another ally: Sony’s IMX789.
Hasseblad will assist with the advanced color calibration system, in addition to creating 12-bit RAW files, better HDR videos, support for recording up to 8K at 30fps (or 4K at 120fps) and a new photo editing application with an interface based on the company’s native app, Phocus.
You can follow the launch of smartphones on March 23 via the official website of the manufacturer. Clues and details of the models are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
