Owner shares moments when dog presses nose on objects

A stupid dog loves nothing more than pressing its nose against surfaces to attract attention.

The owners of the naughty puppy Leo spent hundreds of vet bills to make sure his habit wasn’t a symptom of brain damage.

But the two-year-old pooch was diagnosed as a “silly and healthy fool”.

Leo’s owner Christine Holierhoek, 27, said: “My boyfriend and I just couldn’t stop laughing when we saw him doing it.

“I think he just loves the attention.”

Christine from Bodegraven in the Netherlands took Leo from a farm when she was a little puppy and fell in love straight away.

Leo’s owners were concerned that his behavior was causing brain damage – but the vets simply diagnosed him as a “fool”

She said, “I was at a very low point in my life and thought a dog was going to force me to go outside again.

“I look into the barn and just saw two blue eyes looking at me, and he immediately ran towards me and jumped up.

“Leo was the first puppy to jump at me and I just knew I had to take him home.

“My friend didn’t know, so I had to explain something when I got home!

“His personality was and still is super cute, not afraid of anything, confident and silly.

While trying to raise their new pet in the crate, Christine and her boyfriend Remi, 32, noticed him falling asleep with his nose against the bars.

After that, Leo learned to press his mouth on things he wanted; the door to signal that he wants to go outside, or the sofa when he wants to take a nap.

Nursing student Christine said, “After reading some articles about it, I was concerned that it was also a sign of poor health, so we went to the vet.
