Good Morning Britain first aired since it was announced that Piers Morgan had left the program.
Ranvir Singh started the show for the 30 minute solo when it started at 6 a.m. before Piers usually started at 6:30 a.m.
Singh said Susanna Reid would come to her from 6:30 am.
The couple completed the anchor line-up for the show on Wednesday.
Singh said, “We’re going to talk about what you think. I know what you think.” We will make it. “
Singh also mentioned the fact that the watchdog Ofcom had received more than 41,000 complaints about Morgan’s remarks about the Duchess of Sussex.
ITV announced that host and journalist Morgan would be leaving the newscast on Tuesday.
The move came after storming off the set of the show earlier in the day after a heated discussion with colleague Alex Beresford over the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s television interview with Oprah Winfrey.

A statement released Tuesday by ITV said: “Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided that now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain.
“ITV accepted this decision and nothing else to add.”
Following the announcement, Morgan tweeted, “I am thinking of my late, great manager, John Ferriter, tonight.
“He would have told me to do exactly the same thing.”
During Tuesday’s program, Weather Presenter Beresford defended Harry and Meghan during his discussion with Morgan.
He told the host, “I understand that you have or had a personal relationship with Meghan Markle and she cut you off.
“She has the right to cut you off if she wants. Has she said anything about you since she cut you off? I don’t think she has, but you keep breaking her anyway.”
Ofcom also announced Tuesday that it is investigating comments Morgan made on the interview.
The watch dog received more than 41,000 complaints about his remarks during Good Morning Britain on Monday.
After a clip aired by Meghan discussing her mental health issues and thoughts of suicide, as well as royal officials’ knowledge of her, Morgan said during the program on Monday, “I’m sorry, I don’t believe a word she says .
“I wouldn’t believe her if she read me a weather report.”
Morgan added that she had launched an “attack” against the royal family.
His comments have been criticized by the mental health charity Mind.

During Tuesday’s program, Morgan responded to his comments on Meghan’s mental health.
