In the year following a presidential election, there is usually not a lot of high-profile election news. The split times are more than a year away and the presidential primaries won’t begin until after the split times have expired. However, there are still a number of competitions to watch out for in 2021.

They also deal with mayoral elections taking place in more than two dozen major cities and special elections for a handful of vacant house seats.
