Prince Charles has arrived at the hospital where his father, the Duke of Edinburgh, was admitted.
Philip remains in King Edward VII’s hospital in London after being admitted Tuesday night as a precaution and entering the medical center unaided.
Charles arrived at the hospital on Saturday afternoon.
The Duke, who will turn 100 on June 10, is in hospital for an unknown reason despite the fact that it is not a coronavirus.
PA news agency sources said on Friday: “After consulting his doctor, the Duke of Edinburgh will likely stay in the hospital for observation and rest over the weekend and into next week.
“As we have already said, the doctor acts with great caution. The Duke remains in good spirits. “
