Prince Charles tests positive for coronavirus, isolates himself in Scotland

Prince Charles, a 71-year-old heir to the British throne, tested positive for the coronavirus. He and his wife Camilla isolate themselves in Scotland.

A spokesperson for the couple said Camilla had tested that she was not infected with the virus. Charles has had mild symptoms of the disease but healthy reamins and has been working from home for the past few days, said the spokesperson.

The tests were carried out by the NHS in Aberdeenshire where they met the criteria required for the tests.

This comes as Britain enters its second day of national foreclosure. The UK coronavirus epidemic saw a rapid increase in the number of deaths from 87 to 422. This increase represents an increase of almost 26% in 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths in the UK from 335 to 422.

Britain’s parliament is set to close on Wednesday due to the coronavirus epidemic, with members of parliament being sent home a week earlier for their Easter holidays.
