LONDON – The Prince of Wales has been infected with the corona virus.

A spokesman for Clarence House, Prince Charles’ official residence, confirmed in a statement that the 71-year-old king was diagnosed with COVID-19 disease.

Charles, the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and heir to the British throne, “had mild symptoms but was otherwise in good health,” said the spokesman, adding that he was in Scotland with his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, who tested negative for the coronavirus, isolated himself.
