Prince Harry was reportedly hidden from most relatives at his grandfather’s funeral – after the argument over his explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey continues.
The mirror reported that, aside from his conversations with William and Kate, the only king who showed warmth towards him was his uncle, Prince Andrew.
According to the Mail on SundayHarry’s uncle Prince Edward and his aunt Princess Anne did not recognize him before or during the service.
Edward’s wife, Sophie Countess of Wessex, also appeared “frosty” with Harry.
Due to Covid restrictions, only 30 guests attended.
A source claimed, “You are still very angry. You are setting up a unified front for the Queen. You all think he behaved horribly.”
Sources added that Andrew was now an “outsider” himself to refer to the uncomfortable situation Harry found himself in.
After moving to LA with his wife Meghan over a year ago, it was the first time Harry had seen any of his family members.
Harry joined relatives who paid their respects to Prince Philip, who died on April 9 at the age of 99.
And the shadow of his and Meghan’s recent interview with Oprah was great.
The Duke of York made a similarly controversial television appearance in 2019.
He was interviewed on Newsnight to explain why he failed to sever ties with well-known pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
The interview was a public relations disaster and Andrew was forced to resign from his royal duties shortly after his BBC interview aired.
And of course, the Duke had previously been embarrassed about his ex-wife, the Duchess of York.
A source told the Daily Mail: “He knows – and now firsthand – from Sarah Ferguson what it feels like to be the underdog, which Harry is very much.
“As for the others, there is a deep sense of protection towards the queen and resentment towards Harry.
“From what he and Meghan said about Oprah, there is little sympathy for him.”
In the bomb interview, Harry and Meghan made a number of allegations against the family.
Meghan said comments had been made about the color of Archie’s skin and Harry claimed royals, including his father and brother, were “trapped” in their roles.
The prince also said his father cut him off financially and would not take his calls.
As reported by BirminghamLive, William and Kate were seen speaking to Harry after the service for Prince Philip.
Body language analyst Adrianne Carter said Kate appears to be taking the lead in chatting. Still, when the brothers started dating, it was quite natural, with no signs of stress or discord in their fellowship. There was no forced show and no evidence that they were avoiding each other.
She said, “In fact, William paused so Harry could walk up the hill with them. It looks to me like grief has reunited them. “
