Prince Harry reportedly received the Queen’s blessing on his television series starring Oprah Winfrey – but it wasn’t until she was told it would involve the mental health of soldiers, a royal source has claimed.
The Duke of Sussex reportedly told his grandmother that he planned to do a mental health documentary series with the chat legend in 2018. DailyMail.com reported.
It is also alleged that he spoke to Mrs. Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas, about the series.
But palace insiders say the way they were set up was “clearly misleading” and he would not have received their blessings if they had known of the “personal attack on his father and the institution”.
On the series ‘The Me You Can’t See’ Harry said of his father, Prince Charles, ‘My father used to tell me when I was younger, he said to both William and me,’ Well, it was like that for me it will be so for you. ‘
“It doesn’t make sense. Just because you’ve suffered doesn’t mean your children have to suffer. On the contrary.
“When you have suffered, do everything possible to ensure that you can get any negative experiences you have had right for your children.”
He also said he wanted to “break” the cycle of grief that has been passed down through the generations.
Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are ready to meet for another interview with Oprah Winfrey on Friday.
The royal couple will appear with the chat show queen in The I You Cannot See: One Way Forward.
The new interview will be a town hall style discussion.
