One of the stars of ITV’s Dancing on Ice had to retire from the show this weekend because he was in contact with someone with Covid-19.
Rufus Hound will miss his live performance because he has to isolate now The mirror has exclusively revealed.
The comic now has to be isolated for 10 days, which means that it cannot appear as part of the group number tomorrow night – and again the next Sunday for its individual skate.
According to Der Spiegel, sources say he hasn’t tested positive for the virus, but it is not yet known if he will be allowed to get back on the show.
His professional partner Robin Johnstone has also been advised to stay away from Dancing On Ice Studios.
An ITV spokesperson said: “This week, Rufus Hound came into contact with someone outside of the show who tested positive for Covid 19.
This means that according to government guidelines, he will isolate for ten days. We hope to see him again in the ice soon. “
