Sainsbury’s sent shoppers a new security message ahead of the Easter weekend.
The Birmingham and West Midlands supermarket is asking shoppers to consider traveling to the store earlier.
Easter Sunday is April 4th.
And the supermarket expects to be busy.
That’s why it asked shoppers to pay a visit earlier in the week to “help make everyone safer”.
The grocery store tweeted, “We may be busier than usual this Easter. So please shop earlier in the week to keep everyone safe. Thank you.”
The grocery store has also reminded shoppers to shop on their own to maintain social distancing in stores unless you are with a caregiver or children.
Currently, a reduced number of people are allowed into Sainsbury’s stores at the same time in an effort to stop the spread of Covid-19.
Customers must also wear face masks.
