Samsung Galaxy S20 And Note 20 Get Android 12 And One UI 4

Samsung has started releasing the Android 12 and One UI 4 update for the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series smartphones. In total there are nine devices that will receive the new version. This is the first time Samsung is so soon to update a new version of Android for its devices.

So far, though, the update appears to be limited to Switzerland, but new regions should get access in the coming days. To check if it is available for download on your device, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

As for the potential bugs of this patch, no other beta version is expected to be released for the Galaxy S20 series, meaning the stable version should be released on devices soon.

One UI 4 was officially launched in October this year and brought news to Galaxy smartphone users. For example, you can enable split screen view when running more than one application at the same time. You can also add medical information and emergency contacts in a new section in the settings.
