See Prince William and Kate Middleton's kids applaud health care workers

In the UK, people go to their balconies and windows to applaud health workers, first responders and others on the front lines against the coronavirus outbreak.

Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, joined that nationwide standing ovation on Thursday and shared an adorable video of their children – Prince George, 6, Princess Charlotte, 4 and Prince Louis, 23 months – clapping for our caretakers.

“To all doctors, nurses, caregivers, general practitioners, pharmacists, volunteers and other NHS employees who work tirelessly to help the people affected by # COVID19: thank you” read the caption on the Kensington Royal Instagram account, followed by the hashtags #ClapForOurCarers, #ClapForCarers, #ThankYouNHS and #ClapForNHS.

The sweet gesture is part of the “Clap for our Carers” initiative, which is widely spread on social media.

“In these unprecedented times they need to know that we are thankful”, said the call to action. “Please come with us on March 26 at 8pm for a big round of applause (from front doors, garden, balcony, windows, living rooms etc) to show all nurses; doctors; GPs and caregivers appreciate our continued hard work and struggle against this virus. ”

Royal followers appreciated the adorable post in a time of uncertainty and used the comments to spread love.

“This is the best thing I’ve seen, thank you very much for your support for the primary care services,” wrote a follower.

Another said, “Lovely and thoughtful family. Loved the giggles!”

On Sunday, William and former Kate Middleton shared a carousel depicting Mother’s Day in the UK, which came as families around the world struggled with the corona virus crisis.

“To new and old mothers and families who spend together and separately today – we think of all of you at this difficult time,” reads the caption from the photos.

The pandemic mainly affects the royal family close to home. Earlier this week, it was announced that Prince Charles tested positive for the coronavirus.

The Prince of Wales has tested positive for Coronavirus. He shows mild symptoms, but remains in good health and has been working at home as usual for the past few days, ” said a press statement from Clarence House on Wednesday.

On Thursday, Clarence House’s Twitter account posted a tweet thanking the followers for the get-well messages Charles has received.

“He is deeply moved by your kind words,” it said.
