'Selfless' woman, 22, crushed to death by own car after it rolled back on driveway

A woman was crushed to death by her own car after it rolled backwards and struck her in a driveway.

Breanna Jones, 22, was staying with her sister in Adelaide, Australia when she went to the driveway to move her own car to make room for her boyfriend’s vehicle.

Minutes later, their parked Holden SUV rolled backwards and hit them in the driveway.

It. Breanna is believed to have exited the car without noticing that the electronic handbrake was not engaged.

Heartbroken friends and family described her as a “selfless” young woman who had a passion for helping others.

Her father, Daniel Jones, said his daughter has a good heart and “always think of others.”

He said Daily Mail Australia : “He had all the time in the world for other people.

“Quite often she would come home from work a few hours late and it was found out that it was because one of her colleagues was having a rough time, so she stayed to chat with them.

“Her passion for other people was never too great. I know people often say that about their loved ones — but she was.”

Mr Jones went on to explain how his daughter suffered from multiple neurological conditions that left her life in pain.

But even so, he went on to say she has a “love of life” and has never told anyone about her health issues – although her health was slowly deteriorating.

After being hit by the vehicle, Breanna’s friend arrived at the driveway minutes later to find her dead.
