Ski school hiring official slopes tester for trendy resorts

A ski school operator recruits a winter sports enthusiast as an official slope inspector.

The dream role advertised by the Altitude Ski School in the trendy Swiss travel destination Verbier allows the successful applicant to flee to the picturesque slopes of the resort – including Zermatt, Gstaad and Davos – and test them.

The ideal candidate must be happy to be surrounded by scenic views and have a great passion for fun and thrills as there are plenty of slopes to explore and ski, from beginner routes to more challenging slopes for experts.

Applicants must fill out an application form detailing their experience. The successful applicant will be selected by the heads of the ski schools in early January.

Further terms and conditions will be discussed with the candidate.

Jon West, Director of Altitude Ski School, said, “I am very excited to announce the latest Altitude opening to join our team as our only ski slope tester.

“It’s an incredibly important role and we look forward to welcoming everyone who is the lucky candidate. We are sure they will have a fantastic time making sure the snow is up to standard for the other skiers.”
