But more than that, there is other good news for them and that concerns their favorite TV series and its renewal status. Snowfall Season 5 has been officially confirmed and will return on FX.
The hit Criminal TV series follows Franklin Saint, a 21-year-old drug addict who has disturbed many people. Starring Damson Idris in the lead role, the show was created by John Singleton, which is popularly known for Boyz n the Hood.
The series is set in Los Angeles in 1983 and gives you a pretty classic vintage look through the visuals. At that point, the story begins with the people learning about cocaine and the pandemic of an immense drug that makes people’s lives quite addictive. Snowfall Season 5: What will the show’s plotline be?
Echoing the same theme from 1986, the series will set the same timeline and follow the same original story. Sticking to its roots, the show will move forward and lead the audience into the story of the drug addicts in Los Angeles. Franklin Saint (Damson Idris) is now more prominent than ever and his family has everything they ever dreamed of.
Fortunately, the Officials have revealed the plot on the official site, the official synopsis of the show reads:
“In the summer of 1986 Franklin Saint (Damson Idris) and his entire family are richer than their wildest dreams, about to have everything they’ve ever wanted… the moment the ground begins to crumble beneath their feet. The sudden and tragic death of basketball star Len Bias makes headlines for the rock cocaine epidemic, targeting both Democratic and Republican lawmakers.
Law enforcement is on a warpath and the militarization of the LAPD continues as police and politicians decide the only way to deal with this growing scourge is through violence – and the creation of the new CRASH (Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums). The streets of South Central Los Angeles have never been more dangerous as the Saint family navigates the police, warring gangs and the CIA. In the midst of it all, the biggest threat facing the family is each other as they try not to let greed, resentment and ego tear them all apart.”
Snowfall Season 5: Who will be back on the show?
Franklin Saint (Damson Idris), a young boy who follows his drug addiction from the beginning. The series mainly focuses on him and his life in Los Angeles. The whole cocaine pandemic was enough for them to make a living out of it.
The show won’t stay the same without Damson Idris. The star returns to his famous role as Franklin Saint.
Together with him, Carter Hudson, Isaiah John, Angela Lewis, Amin Joseph, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Emily Rios returns and reprises their roles. On the good note, fans expected sooner Michael Hyatt to return and in the official statement he will be back on the show.
Moreover, Malcolm Mays, Kevin Carroll, Alon Abutbul, and Reign Edwards will also come back and reprise their roles.
