Spotify has launched a feature that allows the interaction between podcasters and listeners.
Spotify continues its efforts to distribute podcasts within the application. The company bought podcast company Anchor in 2019 and integrated it into the platform. Spotify, what has become a major market for content producers after this move opened podcast subscriptions in August 2021. This feature, which turns the platform into a revenue stream, allows publishers to offer their podcasts to listeners for money.
The Sweden-based company has released the Q. launched&A and Survey function, which will increase interaction between listeners and broadcasters.
Q&A and Poll let you comment on Spotify podcasts
The Q&A and survey functionAvailable in more than 160 countries as of today, the work logic is very similar to Instagram story surveys. The publisher can request their listeners’ opinions on any topic with small question cards that they post directly to the podcast page in the Spotify app. He will also be able to vote on any topic he wants for his podcast, using the poll.
Q&A and Poll Embedded in Spotify Podcast Episodes
Publishers can add Q&A and Poll function to their podcasts through Anchor. Listeners, on the other hand, will see these polls if Question and answers under their podcast episode in the Spotify app. According to Spotify’s statement, after you vote on a poll, you can see other votes publicly. However, the same does not apply to the Question and answer period, the answers are only visible to the publisher.
The broadcaster can pin as much as it wants between the questions and answers of its audience. Next to the relevant answer is the sender’s username Spotify account. According to the released information, the pinned answers will be public.
