Internet provider TalkTalk has issued a statement as service is down and customers are unable to access the internet.
According to downdetector.com, the complaints began around 8am on Wednesday morning (January 12).
Hundreds of reports of the outage have been recorded on the website.

A TalkTalk spokesperson said on Twitter: “We are aware that some customers are experiencing issues accessing TalkTalk webmail on desktop and mobile across different browsers.
“Customers who do not use an adblocker are affected. For more information, please click on the following link: https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Service-Status-Dashboard/bd-p/service.”
Downdetector, which monitors the services of large companies, shows reports of problems at several locations across the country, including Birmingham.
TalkTalk offers broadband internet, television and landline telephony.
TalkTalk also offers cell phone and mobile internet services as a mobile virtual carrier over the Vodafone mobile network.
TalkTalk also owns AOL Broadband.
