Tax credit and child benefit Christmas payment dates 2021

The UK government estimates that around 22.8 million people were receiving benefits in the UK in August 2020.

For many people, the benefits are regularly transferred directly to their bank, building society or savings bank account.

However, due to public holidays affecting when applicants receive their usual payments, payment dates will be slightly different during Christmas and New Years.
