Teacher found guilty of inciting schoolboy to have sexual activity

A teacher was found guilty of inducing or inducing sexual activity in a child.

Kandice Barber, 35, of Wendover, Buckinghamshire, has been tried a second time on charges of having sex with the student in a field while she was a school decker.

An Amersham Law Courts jury found Barber guilty of inducing or inciting sexual activity in a child and not in two other cases of the same offenses.

Prosecutors alleged that they wrote repeatedly to the boy and drove him to a field where they had sex.

The court heard that Barber reached out to the boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, at a sports presentation in September 2018 and grabbed his cell phone before adding himself to his Snapchat, which the boy thought was “a bit strange.” .

During the trial, her husband Daniel Barber, 38, told the court, “Our relationship is the way it is today, it has never changed. We have always been good and we have always been strong.”

He added, “When my wife is on the phone, I’m not one of those people who look at her all the time to see who she’s on the phone. I have full confidence in her.”

The husband was asked, “This jury is aware, and so are you, Mr. Barber, that your wife has been convicted of sending a video of yourself masturbating to a student at school. Is that something that surprises you?”

“Yes, because there is no video,” replied Mr. Barber.

He added, “There was no evidence of a video so I cannot respond to something that I cannot see.”
