Tears of joy in Tesco as 82-year-old's Egyptian husband, 36, gets UK visa

An 82-year-old retiree said tears of joy fell on the apples in Tesco when she learned that her 36-year-old Egyptian had finally been granted a UK visa.

Iris Mohamady’s vivid descriptions of sex with her husband stunned presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield when she appeared on ITV’s This Morning.

However, the retired carer from Weston-super-Mare, Somerset said she and her husband celebrated his arrival in the UK “with a cup of tea” on Friday.

However, Mohamed arrived in the UK on Friday after receiving a three-year visa on November 3rd after passing the required English test and showing evidence that he could move in with Iris.

Iris told The mirror: “We didn’t celebrate – we are just together and that is celebration enough.

“We just had a cup of tea together. Mohamed is happy but can’t say much at the moment. He is one of those reserved Egyptians. “

Mohamed called Iris to tell her the good news of his visa while she went shopping.

“There was a lot of happy screaming and shouting,” said Iris. “I cried while I was sorting my fruits and vegetables in Tesco.

“My tears dripped onto the apples. It was wonderful.”

However, Iris said she was now “worn out” after traveling by bus from her home in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset to pick it up from Heathrow.

“Three buses there and three back. We were exhausted, “said Iris.

Regarding her sex life, Iris previously told the Sunday Mirror, “It was amazing. I felt like a virgin again. It wasn’t easy, but it was very loving and romantic.

“My ex-husband said I was frigid when we got divorced 40 years ago, but now I know I definitely am not.”

Iris – who has two sons, Stephen, 55, and Darren, 54 – said some relatives gave her the “silent treatment” after she married Mohamed.

But she said, “We love each other. That’s all that counts.”
