Telegram: The messenger Telegram announced an update to the platform yesterday (26) with changes to both the applications for mobile devices and the web versions.
The most important addition was the arrival of the Payments feature for every chat. Sellers can adopt up to eight Telegram partner payment providers, which can be used for free with the app. It is also possible to leave extra tips after providing a service, such as delivering a pizza.
Previously, it was necessary to use one of the platform’s payment bots. It’s worth remembering that Telegram does not store payment information and releases the API for interested merchants.
The developer has also launched two new apps to use Telegram without the need to pair with the mobile phone. They are already born compatible with some of the main functions of the messenger, such as animated stickers, night mode and folders.
There are two versions, Telegram Web K and Telegram Web Z, and users are invited to test both to choose a preference.
In addition, Telegram added other features to the service. One of these is the option of scheduled voice chats, where the user sets a date and time for meetings or casual meetings.
A notification reminder notifies you of the appointment’s arrival – and the meeting doesn’t start until the call owner allows it, avoiding delays.
Another new feature is that of Miniperfis for Voice Chats: each user’s images have become larger and it is possible to modify the description of their profile to make it more complete. This information is now accessible without leaving a voice chat.
The app has even added a pinch gesture feature to zoom in on an image and a new video player on iOS and Android. Speaking of Google’s mobile operating system, it has gotten new animations that don’t make navigation more cumbersome.
