The nine-year-old girl, who showed the bruises she suffered in the attempted kidnapping, later told local media that the man horrifyingly asked her if she wanted to live after forcibly grabbing her and dragging her away.

The country has been rocked by a number of high profile pedophile cases in the past few months
Last month, two teenagers, ages 19 and 15, were sentenced to prison for the rape and murder of a 12-year-old girl found at the bottom of a well in the Siberian city of Nizhnia Koya.

And earlier this month, a man killed his best friend and buried him in the woods after finding out he had raped his daughter, who was also nine.
Local news site Newspapers reports that the footage of the man who sneaks up on the girl and then grabs her by the throat was published on a telegram channel “Traffic accidents and emergencies MOSCOW and MO”.
The clip shows the man casually approaching the girl from behind before grabbing her in a tight stranglehold and pulling her towards the bushes.
The young victim showed her bruises to local media and said that the man who grabbed her whispered in her ear, “Do you want to live?”
Gazeta reports that a local woman witnessed the incident and started screaming as loudly as she could, terrifying the attacker.
Then he let the girl go and fled the scene.
Local authorities opened an investigation and arrested the suspect shortly after the incident, reports say.
The investigation is ongoing and it is not yet clear what charges the prosecution will bring against the man.
The series of worrying cases has led to calls for an immediate end to a decade-long moratorium on the use of the death penalty in Russia, reported The sun.
Deputy Speaker of the Russian Parliament, Mikhail Yemelyanov, said: “We believe that pedophile killers and terrorists face the death penalty.”
Russia should ignore a Council of Europe ban on the death penalty, adding: “Such villains must be executed. We will insist.”
