New movies and shows coming out this month means there will be some cancellations to follow soon. As Netflix’s list of new titles for April 2021 comes to an end next week, there are a number of names that may or may not ever reappear on the streaming platform.
The TV series The Baker and The Beauty introduced its first season last April, and there seems to be a major lack of information on any renewal. Is there an insight into Season 2 with this intimate comedy or should fans clean up the kitchen and say goodbye?
Has The Baker And The Beauty been canceled?
Unfortunately, things aren’t looking too good for The Baker and The Beauty, as it was announced that the series would not return for Season 2 until the first season ended.
The series entered the television network ABC and received moderate reviews with 86 percent from Rotten Tomatoes and a 7.4 out of 10 from the IMDb. The show did not fare very well in terms of audience audience by ABC’s criteria.
The Baker and The Beauty was the worst-ranked series on the ABC network, averaging about two million viewers per episode, which, while large, was still not enough to keep the television system from pulling the plug.
Fans of this show don’t go without a fight, however.
They hope the streaming giant decides to save this series from disaster and urge fans old and new alike to keep The Baker and The Beauty streaming on Netflix so there is a chance of survival.
After all, the romantic comedy currently has a 91% viewership rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which means the series is quite popular, and so that must mean something, right?
As of now, there doesn’t seem to be any news as to what Netflix’s consensus is on the fate of this show, but shows that are revived by the week may just see Netflix saving the show.
Until then, The Baker and The Beauty will remain canceled, but we’ll make sure to let you know if anything changes. Hopefully we will bring better news about this series next time.
