Many people may already know that baking soda, also known as soda bicarbonate, can be used to clean many items in your home.

Robin, who has her own brand, is called Clean design homeadvised people on how to clean their home.

If you follow their Clean Design Protocols, housewives can potentially save time and become healthier in cleaning their homes.

She explained, “Occasionally you burn the bottom of your pan.

“So use baking powder and vinegar and let it rest for three or four hours.

“Then scrub and it will look like a brand new pan.”

The cleaning expert also explained how baking soda can help remove stubborn rings inside the toilet.

She said, “One cup of baking soda, let sit for 30 minutes, then soak white vinegar to moisten the baking soda on the toilet rim.

“Then use a brush and rinse and it’s gone.”

Another household item that Robin said could be cleaned with baking soda is a “sluggish shower head.”

She explained this could be due to mineral buildup on the inside of the shower head.

“You take the shower head off, soak it in half a cup of baking soda with half a cup of vinegar for an hour, put it back on and it should be fine,” she said.

She then advises taking a hot shower for five minutes.
