Samsung’s 2019 refresh of the Galaxy A series and the designs and some of the features used in flagships were much appreciated. While the models in the Galaxy A series lead the list of best-selling phones worldwide, another claim has been made that is thrilling users.
Today, the 120Hz refresh rate is becoming the standard for flagship phones. In addition to the latest members of Samsung’s Galaxy S and Note series, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a 120 Hz display.
Galaxy A series with a refresh rate of 120 Hz
The South Korean tech giant, which is preparing for an exciting move for the mid-range segment, would increase the screen refresh rate in the Galaxy A series. According to SamMobile’s report, the Galaxy A52 and A72 models will have a display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
There is already an alternative such as the Poco X3, which offers a screen refresh rate of 90 Hz in the mid-range. However, the detail that makes this situation even more exciting is the claim that the Galaxy A52 5G will have a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The difference in refresh rate between the standard models and the 5G model is directly proportional to the processor. While the A52 and A72 are expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, the Snapdragon 750G is said to be available in 5G versions.
In this context, Samsung will take advantage of competitors such as Motorola, Xiaomi and OnePlus by offering fast refresh rates in affordable models.
