Anthony Mackie (Falcon from the Marvel Cinematic Universe) states that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier String for Disney + are similar to ‘a six- or eight-hour movie.’
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier are set to debut in Disney + in August, but the coronavirus pandemic is likely to lead Marvel to delay the launch.
2020 was meant to be a fresh start for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. By observing the events of Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home, Black Widow will act as a bridge to the next MCU saga, with new heroes and villains to fulfill and tell new stories. But the pandemic stopped production on Earth for every movie and TV series, theaters were closed, and the entire 2020 Marvel masterpiece was pushed.
2020 would be the year Marvel Studios took over for the TV unit, which made Daredevil, Jessica Jones and all other Marvel articles on Netflix.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier were probably the first MCU series to debut Disney +; along with anything, however, it closed in March. We haven’t heard much about the series. Still, Anthony Mackie (aka Falcon) who was involved with Variety’s Celebrities on Actors showed Daveed Diggs this week and provided some tantalizing teasers about the series.
“We shoot [The Falcon and the Winter Soldier] just like a movie, ”Mackie Diggs asked when they were pushed for specifics during their conversation. “Anyone who had worked on TV before was like,” I’ve never worked on a TV series like this before. “How we shot, it looks like we shot on film. So not a movie of two hours, but an eight-hour movie. “
As Variety notes, Falcon’s reported $ 150 million funding is relatively huge, but compared to Avengers: Endgame’s $ 350 million funding, which clocks in at 181 minutes. The Falcon series will likely be twice as long, and it’s not easy to imagine Marvel skimping on production value.
Mackie talked about what it was like to undergo the shutdown in Europe:
We had been in Europe and everything went crazy in Europe. They closed us a fortnight before the US closed. It was great because I feel like we are the Marvel series. That was mine [expertise ], “It’s Marvel, we can take pictures.” And they are like “Nah”. Therefore it was a different experience than the other films. But it would have been great fun. Those movies look like summer camp. And this series was different. It was. And so the stunt stuff – everything is just on a different level. Every series they push on it, they push on the envelope. So knock on wood, let’s go.
