Oh we’re just kidding, don’t panic.

But being able to get things done in 30 seconds – based on the drama of the all-time classic that ticks the clock, which is the countdown theme music – is crucial if you want to win the countdown.

If you are good at making coherent words out of a mere jumble of letters and excellent at accomplishing a numerical goal with just five random numbers, why not put yourself to the test on television?

Anne Robinson and Rachel Riley are waiting for you.

Every day two participants compete against each other in 15 rounds with words and numbers to become the countdown champion.

Filming is taking place at The Studios, MediaCityUK, Salford and all viewer tickets for the program are available for free.

Due to the nature of the program and the studio environment in which it is recorded, the minimum age for viewers is 16 years old.

Viewers aged 16 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 and over while the program is being recorded.
