Mari Davtyan, Angelina’s lawyer, said, “The investigations confirmed the father’s violence against his daughters.

“The experts found that each of the girls had suffered from an abuse syndrome and post-traumatic stress disorder since 2014 – all of these conditions have a direct causal relationship with Khachaturjan’s actions.”

The report found that the abusive father manipulated his daughters with threats, violence, humiliation, and “beatings, ridicule, and physical and sexual abuse.”

The children said they killed their father in self-defense

The girls had no other relatives who could stop the nightmare they faced, it was found.

The three will argue in court that they acted out of necessary self-defense.

Currently, the two older sisters are charged with murder and Maria is being sent to a mental hospital rather than prison after being temporarily declared insane at the time of her father’s murder.

Other family members have accused the sisters of lying about their father’s sexual abuse and claiming his money by killing him.
