TikTok is one of the most popular social networks in recent years, and despite having major rivals Instagram and Meta (formerly known as Facebook) it has managed to position itself as one of the most downloaded apps of 2021 , and even keep Googling themselves. The social network does not stop growing, and since they have a great success, they will not stop introducing new features in the application so as not to be left behind.
If the rival social networks have already tried to imitate the operation of the app so that it does not compete with them, which has gone wrong with them, now it is TikTok who is taking over the Instagram Stories to bring them into their field. It was last summer when the news broke that the music app developer team was in the process of introducing this feature to make the competition even stronger.
Initially, everything indicated that they would copy the format almost verbatim, separating the main feed from the new stories. But new leaks about a more advanced stage of the project mean that these stories will be renamed Quick, as well as appearing in the feed itself, rather than in a new separate section.

A trusted tipster has shared the details about this new feature called Quick on TikTok. It looks like these can be seen in the “For You” section, the main feed of the app, as the option to add a side bar has not been approved.
This new change allows users to see the stories of anyone who posts to TikTok, and not just those posted by people you follow. The dynamics are the same as the application has always had, the ability to make its users known to each other without having to follow them beforehand or have common followers. This was exactly one of the reasons why it became hugely popular from the start.
When you use a Quick to . want to upload TikTok, the operation is the same as when you shoot a normal video. The difference is that there will be a new shortcut, which allows you to share your videos, which will disappear after 24 hours of publishing.
For now, there is no estimated date for the launch of this new tool on TikTok, but it looks like it is in its final testing phase. That is, it could be all of 2022 when we have it fully functional for all users.
