President-elect Joe Biden has stated this “This is the time to heal” suggests he leave the prosecution of Trump to others. An important means for the country to heal is to restore confidence in the government and pride in the public service. Some of the founders have become notorious for personal despolations – like that of Ben Carson, Secretary of State for Housing and Urban Development $ 31,000 dining room set or displaced Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt $ 43,000 soundproof phone booth. Last year, ProPublica reported 281 former lobbyists had been recruited into the Trump administration – one lobbyist for every 14 non-public sector vacancies and four times more than Obama hired in his first six years in office.
