A twisted couple filmed themselves performing sex acts on their dog and kept the footage on a secret computer file titled ‘Do not view – delete if we die’.
Police stumbled across 16 video recorded by Kevin Thregold, 48, and Rebecca Thredgold, 36, on their computer while they investigating them for a separate incident.
The sickening clips showed the depraved pair committing bestiality with the dog on three separate occasions.
Police are unable to discover if their lewd acts harmed the dog because it had died by the time the videos were discovered, news.com.au reported.
The warped pair had lived together in South Australia for several years but have since separated.
They both admitted bestiality charges at Adelaide District Court on Thursday.
Ms Thedgold’s lawyer James Marcus told the court the mum-of-six was ‘disgusted with herself’ over her behaviour.
He said: “From the perspective of Ms Thredgold, she thought that that was something her partner wanted and it’s quite apparent that, from Mr Thredgold’s perspective, that is also what he believed.
“The offending arose out of an extensive sexual experimentation between the couple in which they engaged in risque activities.”
Police Prosecutor Georgina Venn pushed for the pair to be sent to jail telling the court the offence was too serious to warrant home detention or a suspended sentence.
“‘The offending is undoubtedly serious and … morally repugnant in nature,” she said.
They will be sentenced next month.
