“We know that the world will not be the same after the pandemic, which also affects the way we handle work. That is why we have re-evaluated our model and reconsidered our space to foster collaboration, taking into account the current moment and the potential growth of our operation in Brazil,” said the general manager of Uber for Latin America, George Gordon.
According to the company, the Uber Campus is in line with the new work policy announced worldwide in April – a hybrid model, in which the return to the office will be gradual and employees and employees will no longer have to work in person every day, just three a week.
“After working almost entirely remotely for so long, the space that our employees will receive should also reflect the new habits that have been incorporated into our lives during this period,” emphasizes Gordon.
“We just need to connect to a mobile phone or notebook to get to work, turning the physical space into a place that promotes coexistence,” the executive adds. The opening is expected in 2022.
