Some Santander customers were unable to make payments today after technical problems.
The bank apologized to customers – telling them to access cash for other banks’ ATMs.
The company stated that its branch, phone, online, app and map services were affected by technical issues.
A tweet to customers said, “We’re sorry there is a technical problem affecting our services. Our teams are working hard to fix it.” e

Twitter users said they couldn’t buy groceries at the grocery store due to the issues.
Another said he couldn’t buy a car for his son.
