Holders of a Tesco Clubcard were warned by money-saving expert Martin Lewis.
Changes will be made in January that will affect more than 16.5 million customers, according to the financial journalist.
In the latest edition of the weekly newspaper MoneySavingExpert.com newsletterThe Consumer Champion wrote, “A mix of a planned overhaul of the Clubcard system and the effects of the recent ban means you need to be aware of significant changes in how your points are used.”
Tesco vouchers can be exchanged for codes that can be issued with Clubcard Reward Partners on jewelry, travel, food, day trips and other reports Daily record.
Buyers can easily convert points into Tesco Clubcard vouchers for use in stores or online. Typically 500 points earned are worth £ 5. However, if you spend them correctly, those 500 points can be worth £ 15.
However, two of Clubcard’s award partnerships end this month. So if you plan to redeem your vouchers for these, Martin advises: “You should do this sooner rather than later.”

Now television will end on Sunday January 31st
Currently, Tesco customers can spend their points on Now TV credits, including a third off-streaming subscription. The partnership between Now TV and Tesco Clubcard ends at the end of this month.
MoneySavingExpert.com explains: “As long as you have exchanged your points online on the Clubcard website by 11:59 pm on Sunday, January 31st, you can still use this reward, even if it takes longer to be credited.”
While some rewards can currently be redeemed and enjoyed, many others cannot be used due to lockout restrictions – including restaurant coupons and day trips.
MoneySavingExpert has also made it clear how Clubcard points are valid for two years. However, if you exchange them for a voucher it will expire 12 months, usually six, but Tesco has extended it as long as your points don’t run out, so it’s still best to wait as long as possible before getting it for one Want to exchange a reward that is currently unusable.
BA Executive Club – closes Monday 18th January
With every £ 2.50 Clubcard voucher, you will receive 600 Avios points which you can spend on flights and other travel benefits.
MoneySavingExpert explains: “The partnership between the BA Executive Club and the Tesco Clubcard ends on Monday. As long as you have exchanged your points online on the Clubcard website by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, January 18th, you can still use this reward, even if it takes longer to be credited. “
All Avios collected with the Tesco Clubcard remain in your British Airways Executive Club account and are valid for at least three years.
