In light of that heartbreaking news, there has been some speculation as to whether Jenny McCarthy, who is married to Donnie Wahlberg, will become involved in the Wednesday night episode of The Masked Singer. So, will McCarthy be behind the jury on Wednesday?
Since filming for The Masked Singer took place prior to Alma’s death, McCarthy will be featured in the episode of the Fox series on Wednesday. The show has already released a few sneak peeks of the upcoming two-hour episode that will unmask two masked listeners. From the sneak peeks, McCarthy can certainly be seen as part of the production, sharing her commentary along with the other judges – Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke and Nicole Scherzinger. Additionally, Rita Wilson will consider the upcoming episode to be one of the show’s most up-to-date guest judges. The incident is aired days after Wahlberg family members shared the news of Alma, who passed away at the age of 78. Alma was the mother of nine children, including Mark and Donnie. McCarthy paid several tributes to her late mother-in-law across social networks. She addressed Alma’s passing on Instagram by posting a photo of herself and her mother-in-law, captioned, ‘To my candy Alma. I couldn’t have asked for a much better mother-in-law. Always nice, I always felt loved and she will always be an inspiration to many I love you so much, Alma.
McCarthy also posted her husband’s video tribute to his mother, showing several exceptional moments between the group. She wrote on Twitter that it was “a wonderful tribute to the world’s greatest mother-in-law.” The Masked Singer judge added that Alma is likely to be “sorely missed.”
