So if you thought your faux pas was finally wiped away, you are out of luck.

There’s a surprisingly easy way to get them on both Apple and Android phones.

The deleted message is saved on your phone and can be uncovered with WhatsApp’s backup function.

The tool backs up all of your messages, allowing users to choose when to back up messages, choose between daily, weekly and monthly, or not to back them up.

To read a deleted message, you need to uninstall WhatsApp and then reinstall it. When you have logged back in, the app offers you the option of restoring chats from the backup.

These chats contain your deleted messages.

WhatsApp recently made an important announcement to all users telling them that they will be able to use FOUR devices with their account as part of a new pilot program.

The Facebook messaging app service taken over by Mark Zuckerberg already allows WhatsApp users to use a laptop.

PC and laptop users can use WhastApp Web by scanning a QR code and visiting a web address.
