Just like on Facebook, whatsapp should get replies to posts soon. The novelty, identified by the WABetaInfo website, had revealed a screenshot on Friday (3). In it you can see that users can respond to other messages with emojis, which will apparently work in individual and group chats.
According to the website, which follows the testing news of the app, comments can use any emoji in the gallery. They are also not anonymous, so all participants in a conversation can see each addition. For now, the feature is in development on iOS and should reach Android in the future.
In the shared screenshot, whatsapp shows three emojis of comments to a message and a counter on the right with a number corresponding to the total number of interactions. As this is a novelty in the testing phase, visual and functional details may be changed until the tool is ready.
parallel, whatsapp has taken more steps towards mobile independence. Evidence of this is that in July the application launched the feature, which is still being tested, on multiple devices. This allows the user to use the app without needing a mobile phone directly – as they are still essential to validate accounts.
