Where you can get a Covid booster jab in Birmingham on Christmas Day

The government has accelerated its Covid booster program to contain the spread of the virus Omicron Variant of the Coronavirus .

Since the booster program began, nearly 30 million people have received their booster jabs – and anyone over 18 in the UK can now book theirs.

Alternatively, you can show up at a walk-in center to receive your booster. So which walk-in centers are open for booster jabs on Christmas Day?

Where can I get a Covid booster vaccination on Christmas Day in Birmingham?

There are two walkable centers in the Birmingham area, which will be open for booster jabs on Christmas Day.

  • Shelley’s Pharmacy, 47 Yardley Green Road, Birmingham, B9 5PU – open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Christmas Day

  • Washwood Heath Health and Wellbeing Center, 4 Clodeshall Road, Birmingham, B8 3SW – open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. through December 31st, including Christmas Day

If you are 18 years of age or older – or 16 or older with an underlying health condition that is at risk – and it has been three months (91 days) since your second dose, you are entitled to a booster vaccination.

The government appeals to all adults to get their booster vaccinations ASAP and insists that booster vaccinations are still the best way to contain Omicron cases.
