Often one of the first signs you are pregnant, morning sickness is synonymous with carrying a child.
But what if that is not possible, what if you wake up every day and feel sick?
Waking up feeling sick is not a good way to start the day, but the reasons for feeling sick can vary widely.

It does not necessarily mean that you have a gastrointestinal infection or that you have a virus, it can be caused by physiological triggers or even diet-related reactions that you have not been made aware of.
Why am I sick in the morning?
The following are the most common causes of morning sickness.
- Acid reflux
- Irregular sleep
- Inner ear infection
- Blocked sinuses
Anxiety is a growing problem in modern society, this goes beyond the average stress of everyday life and to something much more serious if not controlled. Those with anxiety experience symptoms differently, but morning sickness is common.
According to the Anxiety Center, “The stress response causes dramatic physiological, psychological, and emotional changes in the body to improve the body’s ability to deal with a threat: either to fight against it or to flee from it – this is what causes the stress response, often as a flight or flight response. “
This can manifest itself in nausea.
Inner ear infections are also a common cause of illness. The delicate balance of the vestibular helps your body maintain balance, but infection unbalances this and can lead to dizziness and nausea.
This goes hand in hand with the pressure-blocked sinuses that pile up on the inner ear, but can be relieved with over-the-counter decongestants.
Irregular sleep can also be a cause of illness, as failure to follow a normal sleep pattern throws the body’s internal clock off track.
Sleep disorders can increase your risk of heartburn, ulcers, irritable bowel disease, and even gastrointestinal cancer.
