William and Kate could be offered a home at Windsor Castle

William and Kate Kook are reported to be moving to Windsor Castle to live with the Queen.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge currently split their time between living in an apartment at Kensington Palace and their Norfolk country estate, Comments Hall.

But several reports claim that the Queen will offer them a place in their favorite home, Windsor Castle.

In a column for News.com.au, royal commentator Daniela Elser said, “The Crown Estate has 230+ properties, which means Her Majesty has an incredible variety when it comes to giving family members a grace and favor give away, have a free house.)

A source told the Daily Mail: “Annot Hall made sense when William was a helicopter pilot in East Anglia, and it was useful for Christmas in Sandringham, but it doesn’t really work anymore.

“It’s a little too far for weekends, but Windsor is a perfect compromise. They’re looking for opportunities in the area.”

A royal source told Vanity Fair, “William and Kate were talking to their close friends about leaving Kensington Palace.”

They added, “William and Kate are very seriously considering moving to Windsor and it has been discussed with the Queen and the family.”

Kate’s parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, live near Windsor in Bucklebury, Berkshire, as do Kate’s sister Pippa and her husband James Matthews with their two children.

Earlier this summer it was reported that William and Kate were considering moving to Berkshire and attending local schools.
