A woman called the police after missing a McDonald’s breakfast by a few minutes.

The woman had been waiting in a queue in a drive-through branch of the fast food restaurant and wanted to buy items from the breakfast menu.

But the woman failed to make it to the 11 o’clock limit when she reached the front of the line and was rejected.

She called the police claiming it was unfair that she was unable to have a McMuffin meal.

The officers were far from impressed and gave “advice” on how to call. MirrorOnline reports.

Darren Taylor, Mid Sussex Neighborhood Police Inspector, tweeted: “A call from an angry lady at 11:30 this morning explaining that breakfast service had stopped at the window by the time we arrived due to the queue at the McDonalds transit in EG and she I couldn’t order breakfast.

“The lady received advice on how to call the police.”

Explain the situation further The sun, Inspector Taylor said: “Of course this upset her and she wanted us to speak to McDonald’s about the situation as she thought it was unfair.

“We kindly advised her that this is an incident she should be bringing up with McDonalds and that it is not a police matter and that we would not investigate her complaint.”

“I knew there would be no need to stimulate you with the puns,” replied Inspector Taylor.

Another called the woman a “McMuppet”.

But one said, “To be fair, I had a slice of heaven with sausage and eggs this morning and I would have been well annoyed if I had missed it.”
