A woman found dead in her garden with a stab wound in the neck is said to have been mauled by her own two dogs.

Tiffany L. Frangione, 48, of Houston, Texas, USA tried to intervene in a fight between her two dogs and the neighbor’s dogs, but her pets turned against her, according to the Daily Mail.

According to Houston Chronicle, the coroner found that her death was caused by an accident and “blunt violent trauma to her neck with penetrating injuries and mechanical asphyxiation.”

Her dogs are a female, three year old Alaskan Husky mix named Masha and a three year old male Cane Corso mix named Rachirius Maximus.

Frangione has owned both dogs since they were puppies, with Masha entering her life when he was just three weeks old and Rachirius Maximus when he was nine months old.

Houston’s BARC Animal Shelter Confirmed KHOU11.com that these were the dogs that were involved in the attack and that Frangione’s husband had given them to the shelter.

According to their previous posts, Rachirius Maximus and Masha had puppies together in 2019, which made her feel “really blessed”.

In a 2018 post, Frangione said that Rachirius Maximus was born in Dubai and was previously a watch dog.

The post read: “I came all the way from Dubai to the United States with my two brothers.

“I was tricked into guarding a sheikh’s estate but found myself caught in a conflict between the job I was hired for and my kind and loving nature.

“I have made a decision to abandon my past with high-profile bodyguard duties and begin my life by loving and protecting my new masters.”
