World toughest quiz questions where no-one scores 10/10

Who Wants to be a Millionaire? has seen its first million-pound winner in 14 years, with 57-year-old history teacher, Donald Fear, taking home the big prize with three of his lifelines left unused. The UK’s toughest quiz, however, is still yet to be beaten.

The impressive contestant managed the 15 questions with ease, and with over a third of the nation saying that quiz shows are their favourite TV indulgence, there’s no denying Brits across the country were on the edge of their seats. And it’s not just watching – who hasn’t played along while at home, adamant that if they were on that show, they’d win big?

Well, now you can test just that. GalaBingo.com has scoured the nation’s hardest TV quiz show questions to create the quiz of all quizzes, where not one single person has so far managed to achieve a perfect score!

The 10 question quiz features a selection of general knowledge brain-busters on everything from history to maths to geography to sport, taken from popular TV quiz shows including University Challenge, The Chase, the Weakest Link and Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

GalaBingo.com put over 1,000 challengers to the test and not one person was able to answer all 10 correctly. In fact, less than 1% (eight people out of 1,004) were successful in getting nine questions right. It’s serious quizzing, and with almost a 60% chance of answering incorrectly, even Donald Fear himself might struggle with this one!

Commenting on the toughest quiz ever, Karina Adrian, Head of Brand Marketing at GalaBingo.com, said: “As sponsors of The Chase, we’re no stranger to a tough quiz question and we thoroughly enjoyed watching back-to-back quiz shows to find the creme de la creme of unanswerable questions. But we didn’t realise what a truly difficult quiz we created until we got the results back – we’d love to find the one Brit out there who can get 100%!”
