There is a new development in the pending lawsuit between Apple and Epic. Despite everything, Apple resists Fortnite and the ban on developer accounts.
Despite all the benefits of Epic, Apple continues to oppose the case of in-game payment shares between Apple and Epic Games. The preliminary ruling of the court in the US strengthened Epic’s hand in that sense. For a new law to come into effect in South Korea, Epic recently made its first move. It was just after this request that Apple showed resistance and did not step back.
Epic Games took the first step against Apple for the Fortnite ban!
Despite all the successes of epic games, Apple does not return after deleting Fortnite of the App Store and the ban on developer accounts. According to the development that emerged two days ago, Epic Games made the first application and took power from a new law that appeared in South Korea. The company asked for the ban on developer accounts to be lifted in the first place. Apple, on the other hand, rejected this application for South Korea.
Apple announced in a statement that the bill submitted by epic games has not yet become law, so it will not evaluate this application. In its statement, the tech giant emphasized that the company must comply with the App Store rules to suspend Epic Games developer accounts and Fortnite forbid.
epic games, on the other hand, will make significant gains from the new South Korean law. Accordingly, the law requires app stores such as Google Play and the App Store to accept in-game payment methods from third parties.
In the US, the court made a similar decision in the legal battle of Epic Games and Apple, paving the way for third-party payment methods. While this Epic Games win hasn’t been crowned yet, it will allow application developers to make a lot more money, especially on the App Store side. Currently, Apple takes a 30 percent share in the applications. Fortnite, on the other hand, it was by far the highest paid game before it was banned from the App Store.
Epic has asked Apple to restore our Fortnite developer account. Epic plans to re-release Fortnite on iOS in Korea, offering both Epic payments and Apple payments side by side in accordance with the new Korean law.

although Apple and Epic conflict with each other, Google has an equally high percentage of applications. If Epic Games can wrap up this win over Apple, there’s a possibility that app prices will be affected. Again, using their own payment methods for in-game payments can also lower the prices of content that can be purchased, such as special clothes, weapons, etc.
So Epic Games came very close to the happy ending regarding the Fortnite forbid. So, do you think? epic games will really be able to prevail over developer accounts and the Fortnite ban?
