Ken Doll prisoner claims life behind bars was 'not that bad' and received 'nothing but kindness' from inmates

A “criminal Ken Doll” claims life behind bars is “not that bad” after spending time indoors for failing to follow orders relating to previous offences, including harassment.

The self-confessed plastic surgery and tanning addict, 22, spent a month behind bars.

Hull native Jimmy Featherstone traded appearances on reality TV shows and expensive plastic surgery for a jail cell.

A judge sent him to prison late last year for showing a blatant “lack of respect” for the law. Hull Live reports.

Jimmy claims he previously missed a court date to go to London and appear on ITV’s This Morning. He spoke with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary in a segment titled “The man who spends 1,000 a month on tanning despite the risk of skin cancer”.

The Hooked On The Look star has now branded his time in prison as “not that bad” and said he even made friends there.

Jimmy was picked up from prison in a Range Rover and treated to a range of luxuries to celebrate his release.

The Hull man, who spends over £10,000 a year on cosmetic surgery, has since enjoyed Hull’s nightlife, shopped and even had more surgeries since coming out.

He said: “I’m back. I made a stupid mistake. It could have lost my career. However, life goes on and in 2022 you need to go forward, not backward.

“You hear all these rumors about the prison. The rumors are not true.

“Everyone in there looks out for each other and I’ve had nothing but kindness from everyone in there.

“Of course, that’s not to say prison is a nice place, because it’s not — obviously prisons aren’t made to be nice.”

Jimmy made a shocking admission on Instagram that he managed to get a fake tan in prison.

He also revealed he kept a phone in his cell to call his friends and family

While answering questions on his Instagram, one person asked him, “Was prison bad? I wouldn’t last a night lol.”

To which Jimmy replied: “No, I knew guys there who were on my wing who knew my dad and I had a phone in my room to call my family and friends.

“Also I was sent money so you could buy absolutely anything, you were given a shopping list and you can literally buy anything.

“I even got fake tan there but I only did it four weeks although it’s a long time there but the outside world is nothing thanks for asking xxx.”

The reality TV star admitted he “made a stupid mistake,” but the rehabilitation process hasn’t changed him.

He has no plans to give up his addiction to cosmetic surgery

Jimmy told Hull Live: “I would say prison hasn’t changed me – I feel more determined than ever.

“I can’t let what happened ruin my life and my goals. I have to stay focused and move forward.

“For me, a new year begins with many opportunities. I have to do what is best for me. I was grateful for all the support I received during my absence.”

Just weeks after returning home, he visited Manchester to undergo eyebrow lift surgery.

“This is one of many operations that have been removed from the list. I’m in the healing process, it was painful, but I’m healed now and happy with the result. It’s clear I’m no stranger to treatment,” he said.

The reality TV lover claims he will have more surgeries this year to complete his “fantastic plastic” look despite earlier concerns from family and friends. He says he will also appear on a major UK TV show later this year.

He added: “I’m delighted to have filmed for a new show on one of the biggest TV platforms after my ‘This Morning’ debut and ‘Hooked On The Look’. There were many options and you just have to decide what suits you best and suits your personality.
