Line of Duty fans think they've cracked identity of 'H' after cryptic clue

Line of Duty fans have become detective believing they may have cracked the identity of the mystery character ‘H’.

Viewers were glued to their screens during the sixth thrilling series of the BBC’s police drama, which airs every Sunday night.

And now a cryptic clue could have ripped the case wide open as the investigation investigates an unknown corrupt police officer who is part of a large organized crime group.

One intriguing theory is that Detective Chief Superintendent Patricia Carmichael – played by Anna Maxwell Martin – is the illusory twisted copper that the corruption group AC-12 hunted down.

A Twitter user wrote about swapping the letters of Carmichael’s name to reveal it all.

They wrote, “I think Carmichael is H. Jimmy Lakewell asked Steve to look into racing entitlement. Take away Carmichael’s racing entitlement and what’s left … CARMICHAL – RACECLAIM – H. I have it cracked.”

The fifth episode ended on an absolute cliffhanger when Detective Sergeant Kate Fleming – brilliantly played by Vicky McClure – and corrupt copper artist Ryan Pilkington, played by Gregory Piper, ended up hearing guns drawn and gunfire.
